Ford is issuing a safety compliance recall in North America.

Ford Motor Company is issuing two safety recalls and two safety compliance recalls in North America.

Seven Ford Motor Company cars, trucks and vans have won the Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America awards for 2017. The awards recognize vehicles that provide fleet customers with lowest total cost of ownership.

The Chicago Assembly Plant – home of the Ford Taurus and the award-winning Ford Explorer –implemented efficiency efforts in early 2016, that have helped the plant reduce water usage by 47 million gallons in the last year.

Engineers from Ford’s Research and Engineering Center in Nanjing have helped Mustang – China’s top-selling sports coupe – master the ancient art of the country’s traditional handwriting system.

Ford and its joint ventures in China sold 64,641 vehicles in February, up 2 percent compared to February 2016. Sales in the first two months for Ford, including JVs Changan Ford Automobile and Jiangling Motor Corporation, totaled more than 153,000 vehicles, a 21 percent decrease.

Ford Motor Company sales surged 23 percent in China in December, capping a record year for the automaker in the world’s largest new vehicle market.
